About the Philadelphia Church of God

The Philadelphia Church of God is a non-denominational Christian church located in Edmond, Oklahoma. Founded in 1989 by pastor general Gerald Flurry, the Church proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. The Church traces its roots and teachings to the Worldwide Church of God, founded by Herbert W. Armstrong in 1934 as the Radio Church of God.

The Church proclaims its message through every kind of media, broadcasting through the Key of David television program, publishing the Philadelphia Trumpet newsmagazine in print and online at theTrumpet.com. It also publishes dozens of books and booklets on its teachings and a 36-lesson Bible correspondence course, all of which are distributed free of charge.

At its headquarters in Edmond, Oklahoma, the Church sponsors Herbert W. Armstrong College, the Philadelphia Youth Camp, the Armstrong International Cultural Foundation concert series, and a primary and secondary school, Imperial Academy.
